Joshua's English Writing Class

　Tell the truth, I felt that it is an English Writing Class only for Oriental Medicine's students when I attended the frist class. Because there are so many students whose major are Oriental Medicine :)

　I was surprised by the piano in 710 classroom, and I found out other classrooms also have it. I was much more surprised. Joshua enjoyed to play the piano with sound good melody while we are writing the Journal.

　Hah, I like the Journal, because of its cover with O. Of course my blood type is O. I like the feeling of achievement when I see contents in Journal.

My blog also gives me a sense of achivement.

　Most of all, though, I was hard to write and post the contents. I have been feeling that it has made me to upgrade the English level much more than before.

　An idea that how I can study English writing

very well, suggested itself to me.

more writing, more listening

and more comunicating

with foreigners,,,,,, ;)

English is not difficult language,

it has to be easy if I'm in the face of studying

it with positive mind.

Important Than Presents

A man going abroad to work leaves his fiancee crying. "Don't worry, I will write you everyday," he said. For years he did write her. But since he was happy with his job, he had no immediate plans of going home. One day, he received a wedding invitation. His girl friend was scheduled to be married. To whom? To the mailman bringing regularly the letters of her boy friend! Indeed, distance does make hearts flounder.
The poor boyfriend surely explained, "What went wrong? I sent her letters, chocolates, and flowers." When relationships go wrong, the list of things given and done for the person usually crops up. We say, "I have given you this and that...I have done these things for you." It seems that love is simply proven by the bestowal of gifts and favors.
But while presents are important, love demands what is basic: presence of the beloved. I have observed for instance, the orchids of my mother. When she's away for a long time, they are unhealthy and many of them wither. But when she is around, they bloom with beautiful flowers. My mother does nothing exceptional. She just spends much time talking and caressing them.
I guess persons all the more require a caring presence. Love is fundamentally a commitment to a person. We may be committed to our business, job, hobby, sports and clubs, but strictly speaking, they cannot love us back. Only a person can love us in return, and for that matter the highest commitment as human beings is spending time with those persons we love. And since people need affection and nourishment, material things can only help up to a certain degree in fostering love. But it can never replace the greatest gift of presence.
Martha was busy with her job. She believed she had to work harder because she loves her father who is sick of cancer. She has to provide for his expensive medicines. Her brothers and sisters meanwhile stayed with their father most of the time. They bathed him, sang for him, spoon-fed him or simply kept him company.
One day Martha was hurt. She overheard her father telling her mother, "All our children love me except Martha." "How can this be?" Martha thought. "Am I not the one killing myself in my work to have money to buy for his medicines? My brothers and sisters do not even provide their share in the expenses as much as I do."
One night, as Martha was as usual late in going home, she peeped for the first time in the room where her father was lying. She noticed that her father was still awake. She decided to come close at his bedside. Her father held her hands and said, "I miss you. I don't have much time. Stay with me." And she stayed with her father holding his hand the whole night.
The next morning Martha said to everybody, "I have taken a leave of absence. I would like to be with father. I will bathe him and sing for him from now on." Her father had a beautiful smile. He knew this time Martha loves him.
* As children, we need the assuring presence of our loved ones. Adult people need no less. *

　There are 3 stories in this article. The first story is about a man who going abroad and leaves his fiancée for a job. Although he does lots of thing for her, but she eventually leaves him for a mailman who gives the man’s letters and gift to her. The last story is about Martha whose father is down with cancer. She just works outside for medical expenses of her father at first. But she decides to stay with him after she realizes what true love is. To Visit KBS?!

　Last Sunday, I paid a visit of a typical Korean broadcasting station which is located in Yeoui-do with my freind. One of my freinds asked us what did I find the field trip education. Actually I didn't get somthing new except taking some photo... So I feel little inconvenience. Whatever I could not catch something, one fact I got that there isn't any Star who has make the scene on TV. Anyway we took some photo at least.

Stock Trading is Not Simple Business

　One of my hobby is stock trading. I have been holding some kind of stocks in Korean stock exchange from last February. I'm a conservative investor for stock trading, and I've never sold short before attaing my target. Of course I had enough research and analyzing before buying. However, recently securities market let me down with the disapointing result that has already suffered above 50% loss. -----------囧TL

　Actually I'm a lucky person than others who are members in the ABS and Stock Research. Some of them have lost above dozens of million Won even more than one hundred million Won. However, according to the rule of market, the economic recovery will come soon. So we also buy stocks if we have enough money. As Warren Buffett said "Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful!"---------^^;

　Yesterday I found this photo 'A Farm Child is Working on the dog days' when I was surffing on a Chinese forum site. About this heartbroken photo many netizen expressed to pity. To be pay attetion to the photo that a barefoot boy is crying and carrying two bundles of straw which is longer than his stature. It is appealing to your and my sympathy.

Baitoushan Volcano

Baitoushan Volcano, China and North Korea
　One of the largest known eruptions of the modern geologic period (the Holocene) occurred at Baitoushan Volcano (also known as Changbaishan in China and P'aektu-san in Korea) about 1000 A.D., with erupted material deposited as far away as northern Japan distance of approximately 1,200 kilometers. The eruption also created the 4.5-kilometer-diameter, 850-meter-deep summit caldera of the volcano, which is now filled with the waters of Lake Tianchi (or Sky Lake). This oblique astronaut photograph was taken during the winter season, and snow highlights frozen Lake Tianchi and lava flow lobes along the southern face of the volcano.
　Baitoushan last erupted in 1702, and geologists consider it to be dormant. Gas emissions were reported from the summit and nearby hot springs in 1994, but no evidence of renewed activity of the volcano was observed. The Chinese-Korean border runs directly through the center of the summit caldera, and the mountain is considered sacred by the predominantly Korean population living near the volcano. Lake Tianchi is a popular resort destination, both for its natural beauty and alleged sightings of unidentified creatures living in its depths (similar to the legendary Loch Ness Monster in Scotland).

　My blog's name, Grande Campo means wide field.
　Three years before I was translating for a Korean businessman who was trading Italian furniture in China. He was managing a furniture multiple shop which name was Grande Campo, and when I saw that shop I liked the name of that shop. Till now I use 'Grande Campo' or 'Gcampo' as ID of my e-mail or website.

　Cai Lun was a Chinese eunuch who is conventionally regarded as the inventor of paper and the papermaking process. Although paper existed in China before Cai Lun (since the 2nd century BC),he was responsible for the first significant improvement and standardization of papermaking by adding essential new materials into its composition.

　A candidate brought a dice into the examination hall for an objective test. He started tossing the dice to select his answers. The superintendent passed by thinking that it is common to have students trying their luck.

　Very soon the candidate finished his whole paper and slept on his table. Half an hour later the candidate sat up and started tossing the dice again.

　The superintendent felt curious and approached the candidate.The superintendent asked, "Gentleman, why are you tossing the dice again since you've already finished all the questions earlier on?"

The DANCE, was difficult for me

　On Sunday last week, was a ABS(Association of Business Systems)'s 19 years anniversary of founding which is one of center circle in Kyung-hee University.

　From last semester i have been a head of management team. For this event, a lots of big senior was came to join us, we decided to prepare the point to make a Gag Show, such as "An Expert" was showed by Gag Concert, a program play to the gallery.

　And our arranged team of 3 members just, showed a dance was called "Tell Me", a famous song or dance by Wonder Girls, group of teenage girls, in Korea. We prepared the dance all of weekend, and that night we weared black suit and sunglasses with a flowery tie, was waiting for our order, were last arrangement. When the song of "Tell Me" started with our comic pose, the members of ABS almost laugh with hand clap.

　This was a celebration I'll remember for a long time. NO~! I will al~ways remember that night happened such as the "Tell Me" dance.

The Dream With Nightmare

　Sometimes I have dream at nights, also last night i had! It's facts that I don't know why i had such ugly dream.

　I didn't expert that there was nightmare, because of that I commonly had nice dream at nights. In my dream that I was attending a mathematics class was taught by my poppa who was a teacher in a middle school. At one time in that class, a cockroach which is the smallest I had ever been grabed in my skin with traveling anywhere, just likes its heaven. And then I told my poppa, was teaching classmates, a roach grabbed in my skin. I was afraid of something happened, so I shouted for helping. My poppa took a pen, a kind of needles looked alike, was close to me. Then he pricked me with a spiculate pen and blood. One time could not kill the bug, again and again....

　When I woke up, I found it was just a dream which was specially and the ugliest. But maybe it was lucky for me who looks at blood of deep color, in korean superstitions.

Once my father in China had his own trading agency that did business with Korean trader. In 1997, IMF resulted in that my father’s project had bursted-up. Then I was 12 years old, I had none interesting that any learning even I hated it that cause of my parents, leaved from me that just they wanted to make more money went another city, for my prospect so much. From then on I was acquiring a lot of that useful things for me.

Now all of my parents are living in Seoul from that time. Last summer I came here to see my parents in Seoul. When I was in China, I had gotten high levels of Korean language, so I was able to apply Korean University that enough I can did it.

Go on travels as for pleasure and sightseeing, but it was not enough reasons that I wanna go on travels. When I went on travel, I thought out me who had found a new ideas and growing by myself. The sightseeing that someone maybe does not like I am interested in. I have enjoyed tour from childhood, at the almost reason make a tourist being happy, who wanna have nice travel. So I chose tourist management in my University. I think out a person become a stronger who can alive in dicky surrounding, must be used to each challenge.

Not challenging, dull and lacking excitement I think. I am an alike challenging person who can alive in any surrounding of areas such as Sahara Desert?! It is not joking like that you thought all not that is unreality. Of cause it is not a piece of cake. No other than I can, I try to do it best. But I really hope that I have a truth dream without a pie in the sky. It is very tearful for me.

Also i've got it

There cames autumn, i like this season very well. Not cold, not heat and without more damp wheather, so i like temporality. whenever comes this time i'm alike a bird has best conditions that surroundings of flight. Because of that i just have got a blog, but feeling fresh that it is no precedent.
